We're Going Green, Uber Green

One of the ways we are reducing our carbon footprint is to stipulate that our employees in the US use Uber Green when using rideshare. This program adds one dollar per ride which is split between the driver and Uber's program to shift more of the cars in their system to electric. We applaud this as well as Lyft's plan to convert their whole fleet to electric by 2030. Moreover, we envision a future of sustainable cities with lots of walking and bikes, good electric public transit, congestion pricing for private cars, more parks, and less parking.
