Silicon Valley startups are increasingly turning to China-based companies to make their products. To learn the ins and outs of international manufacturing, the Wall Street Journal followed six business owners, including BCD Founder Pete Staples, on a factory tour of Shenzhen.

As author Li Yuan learned from interviewing Pete and other industry figures, changes like increased competition, lower costs, and an explosion…

The Year in Review: Blue Clover Devices Looks Back on 2015

IoT Industry Leaders Visit the BCD Shenzhen Factory

At BCD, we’re always looking forward to the next project, so…

BCD South Park Celebrates Thanksgiving With Our Annual Potluck Contest

Does anyone really lose in a potluck contest? The amazing turnout for BCD South Park’s annual Thanksgiving potluck made it almost impossible to pick a winner.

Emily’s savory chicken satay may have garnered the most votes, but she faced some stiff competition: our SF Beavers brought their A-game with a smorgasbord of homemade dishes, from garlic and ginger chicken wings to chocolate peanut butter cookies to slow-roasted…
