Pete filed the paperwork to found Blue Clover Devices on the UCLA campus a few weeks before graduating with an MBA. In the years since 2003, he has led the company with his co-founder Judy Wang to expand to San Francisco, Hong Kong, and Shenzhen and provide reliable development, design, and manufacturing services to clients worldwide including iHome and Herman Miller.
His professional career began at Boeing Satellite Systems (formerly Hughes Space and Communications) developing advanced communication payloads. We was awarded the Hughes Innovation Award for work related to a novel modem design and held team leadership roles on multiple special projects.
Pete earned an M.S. in electrical engineering from Clemson University where we was awarded the Engineering Department’s Teaching Assistant of the Year Award and published several research papers on distributed wireless networks with his advisor, spread spectrum pioneer, Michael Pursley. Before that, he graduated cum laude with a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan.
At the age of 19, he played for the University of Michigan Men’s Soccer Team and earned his pilot’s license. He remains an avid fan of both soccer and aviation.

In 2005, Judy brought Blue Clover Devices’s business into China, aimed to help our international clients’ needs from R&D to Ready-to-Ship. Since then, she plays a leading role in BCD’s rapid growth. Judy drives company systems’ building such as project management, supply chain pipeline & manufacturing development, client partnership, human resources & financial structuring, and government relationship. Judy has 16 years of international working experience from both US and China. She came from strong Marketing & Sales background into entrepreneurship in BCD. Judy previously served in senior managerial positions in JCDecaux, LVMH, NIKE, Bertelsmann. Her last job prior to BCD was Asia & Pac Rim Marketing Director at Brown Shoe Co. Judy graduated with B.S. degree from Ocean University of China, and won MBA in 2002 from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).
